After weeks of bad weather we eventually got to kick a ball again, today’s opponents wereKewwho we had previously drawn 1-1 against, today we were down to a bare bones. The pitch look quite good but got worse as the game progressed and the rain began to fall. Things didn’t quite go as planned as early on we found ourselves behind to an own goal and that was how the score stayed until half-time.

We started the second half with a bit more belief and soon scored with Kew netting an own goal to even things up, it didn’t take long before we began to control the game and eventually the winner came from Rick who hit a fantastic shot into the bottom corner. We ran out 2-1 winners and this was a much deserved result, well done to all for all the way we tried to play football and for the battling performance.
